Pipeline Operator- CO2 (Denver City, TX)

Position Description:

Primary purpose: Responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of equipment within the assigned asset.


Essential duties and responsibilities:


? Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities


? Ensure all EHS procedures and practices are followed while carrying out tasks


? Diagnose and work to resolve problems


? Plan and schedule work activities


?Locate and mark facilities per Company Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to and during encroachments and excavation.


?Perform maintenance duties. ?Valve Inspection, Relief Valve Testing, and ROW Maintenance?


?Maintain DOT records.


?Coordinate local Damage Prevention activities.


?Provide oversight and inspection to ensure asset protection and compliance with Company procedures of excavation activities near pipeline facilities.


? Maintain good standing with all required training


? Knowledge of construction standards and O&M procedures


? Regular and predictable attendance.


? Other duties as assigned.??



  • Operate pipeline meter stations and pump stations



Must be able to multi-task and set proper priorities.

Position Requirements:

Minimum requirements: Education:
? High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience / specific knowledge:
??Preferred experience-? at least one (1) year as Pipeline Operator or industry equivalent
Certifications, licenses, registrations
? Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by the company and a current, valid State driver?s license
? Subject to random drug testing
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
? Proficient with assigned core computer programs
? Follow work procedures independently on less routine/daily tasks or more complex equipment/processes
? Ability to work from written or verbal instructions
? Proficient at operation of necessary equipment
? Ability to properly prioritize tasks
? Act as mentor for less experienced employees
? Have the ability to train others ? Ability to communicate effectively.
? Ability to work with others, takes direction from supervisor(s), focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
Physical demands:
? Primarily outside work
? Frequently lift and carry, unassisted, items weighing up to 50 pounds
? Walking, climbing, standing, and sitting
? Some inside work for training, working on computer
Working conditions:
? Shift work, alternating days, nights, holidays, weekends
? Overtime required
? Emergency response
? Callouts
? On-call

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
